  Ansco Anscoflex

The Ansco Anscoflex camera was manufactured by Ansco in circa 1954. Described in advertising as "A wonderful choice for people who can't be bothered with complicated cameras". Designed by Raymond Loewy with an Ultra-modern look. The Anscoflex was an easy to use reflex type or pseudo twin lens reflex camera capable of capturing twelve 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 inch exposures on standard 620 roll film. The camera was constructed of metal with a stylish grey and silver finish. It was fitted with a two element f11 lens mounted in a reliable flash instantaneous shutter. Features included a double exposure prevention and convenient ratchet-wind film knob. The Ansco Anscoflex camera was priced around $15.95.
