  No. 1 Folding Ansco

The No. 1 Folding Ansco was manufactured by Ansco of Binghamton, New York in circa 1924. It was similar to the No. 1 Ansco Junior except for the optics. The camera was fitted with a Ansco f7.5 Anastigmat lens and an Ilex General shutter providing speeds of 1/5, 1/10, 1/25, 1/50, 1/100, time and bulb. Two more speeds compared to the Junior. The camera was automatically focused when the bellows were pulled out and locked into position. By releasing the fixed focus lock it can be adjusted for close-ups or very distant views. The No. 1 Folding Ansco was priced at $17.50 in 1926.
