The Ansco Viking Ready-set camera was made in Munich Germany by Agfa Camera Werks for Ansco of Binghamton, New York from approximately 1952 to 1959. The camera body was made of metal and covered in water resistant covering. The camera took eight 2 1/4 x 3 1/4 inch exposures on no. 120 roll film. It was fitted with an Agfa Isomar fixed focus f11 lens and mounted in a flash synchronized time and instantaneous shutter. The Ansco Viking Ready-set camera was priced around $44.50 and the f6.3 at $19.95.
