  No. 1A Ansco Junior

The No. 1A Ansco Junior camera was made in Munich Germany by Agfa Camera Werks for Ansco of Binghamton, New York in circa 1926. The camera was referred to as the new model. The camera was made of metal and covered in seal grain leather. It was capable of capturing 2 1/2 x 4 1/4 inch negatives on Ansco No. 6A or 6B speedex film or on kodak no. 116 film. It was fitted with an Anscomatic f7.9 lens in a Deltax shutter providing speeds of 1/25, 1/50, 1/100th per second, including time and bulb. Other features included the Ansco automatic finder, easy focusing scale, nickel finish on the exposed metal. The No. 1A Ansco Junior camera was priced around $17.00.
