Series 2A Magazine Camera by Bullard

The Series 2A Magazine Camera was manufactured by the Bullard Camera Company in circa 1900. It was a magazine camera, similar to the Series A except it featured a double extesion bellows with rack and pinion movement. It was capable of capturing eighteen 4 x 5 inch exposures on glass plates that were housed in an aluminum sheaths. The changing magazine was simple and its bulk was very little more than that of a good many 1/4 plate cameras, with the case measuring 6 x 6 x 7 inches. McKeown's indicates that early models were made in Wheeling, West Virgina and are rare. The Series 2A model was the most expensive when compared to the Series A or B, which was priced at $20.00 (47s 6d) in 1901.
