The No. 3A Folding Pocket Ansco camera was manufactured by Ansco in circa 1913. It was constructed of a a round-cornered aluminum body with heavy nickeled and polished metal fittings. The camera was capable of capturing 3 1/4 x 5 1/2 inch negatives on Ansco No. 18A and 18B roll film or on equivalent Kodak no. 116 film. The camera was fitted with an Ansco Double Rapid Symmetrical lens with a focal length of 6 1/2 inches and an Ansco automatic shutter. An important feature for this camera was the automatic plano reversible finder which displayed the image exactly as the captured image. The front was adjustable up or down and swing. It also featured noiseless key winding, a new spool-holding arrangement and two tripod sockets. The camera measured 2 x 4 3/4 x 9 1/2 when closed and weighed 39 ounces. The No. 3A Folding Pocket Ansco camera was priced at $25.00 in 1913.
