  Portable Camera


The Portable Camera was designed and sold by W. I. Chadwick of Manchester, England in circa 1890. It was a high quality folding field camera, probably manufactured by Billcliff. The camera was constructed of mahogany with lacquered brass metal work. It featured a double extension rack and pinion adjustments, leather bellows, rising-falling and tilt front, adjustable back, ground glass viewing and built-in tripod mount.
