  Pajtás Camera

The Pajtás camera was manufactured by Gamma Optical Works in Budapest, Hungary from approximately 1955 to 1960 and then by Fovarosi Finommechanikai Vallalat FFV, from 1960 to 1962. It was a simple camera made of bakelite with an integrated direct eye-level view finder. Pajtás in Hungarian means "Companion". It was fitted with a Achromat f8 80mm lens made by Magyar Optikail Művek (MOM). The camera shutter provided a single 1/30th of a second instantaneous speed (M), plus bulb (T). It had three adjustable apertures f8, f11 and f16. The camera produced twelve 6x6cm exposures on standard 120 roll film.
