The Printex Camera was manufactured by the Printex Products Company of 27 E. Union St. Pasadena, California in circa 1946. A durable camera made of cast and machined lightweight magnesium metal. Scientifically designed based on past military and Aero cameras and manufactured to be within strict tolerances to ensure smooth operation. It was made in two sizes, the Printex Press Camera is a 4 x 5 inch format and the Printex Mini Press provided 2 1/2 x 3 1/4 inch exposures. features included a leather carrying handle, optional Kalart synchronized range finder with all working coupling parts inside the camera, two position tubular view finder with parallax correction, spring type back for cut film use in graphic holder or an adapter for film packs. The Printex 4 x 5 Press Camera was originally priced at approximately 79.50 for the camera only.
