The Bobette II camera was manufactured by Zeiss Ikon AG of Dresden in circa 1929. The camera was redesigned from the Bobette I, eliminating the struts and replacing it with a traditional fold down bed and pull-out front standard. Like the Bobette I this camera took 22 x 31mm negatives on 35mm roll film. It was designated with Zeiss number 548. The camera was made of metal and covered in leather. It was fitted with either a Ernostar f2 42mm or a Ernemann anastigmat Ernon f3.5 50mm lens, mounted in a zeiss shutter providing speeds up to 1/100th part of a second, plus time and bulb.
