The Contaflex Super BC camera was manufactured by Zeiss Ikon AG of Dresden, Germany from approximately 1965 to 1970. It was a 35mm single lens reflex camera constructed of metal covered in leather with the exposed metal parts finished in chrome. Another version of this camera had the metal parts finished in black. It was similar to the Super B except the BC had a CdS through-the-lens exposure meter instead of the selenium meter. It was fitted with a Zeiss Tessar f 2.8 50mm coated lens and the shutter was a synchro-compur-X shutter providing speeds up to 1/500th part of a second, including self-timer. The Contaflex Super BC carried Zeiss number 10.1273.
