The Ontobloc camera was manufactured by Cornu Company of Paris, France in circa 1946. It was a compact 35mm camera constructed of cast-metal with a dark gray crinkle finish. It was fitted with a Boyer Saphir f3.5 50mm lens and a Coronto shutter providing speeds from one to 1/300th part of a second plus bulb. There were two versions made. The early version is as depicted above and the second version featured a more modern and wide view finder on top of the camera.
