The Diamond No. 1 Hand Camera was manufactured by Talbot & Eamer in circa 1890. Advertised as the smallest, lightest and cheapest efficient hand camera yet produced. The camera was capable of taking 12 quarter plate negatives on ordinary dry-plates 2 3/8 x 3 1/4 inch without recharging. It featured a rapid rectilinear lens and a time and instantaneous shutter. The camera measures 5 1/2 x 3 x 3 1/2 inches. The Diamond No. 1 Hand Camera was priced at 30 shhillings, complete in case.
