The "Economic" camera was manufactured by Talbot & Eamer in circa 1893. Constructed with a magazine holder for 12 exposures on glass plates or twenty-four when using cut celluloid film in sheaths. The changing was effected through the use of a soft leather bag, which when not in use folded down over the recess in which the plates were stacked. The body featured a telescopic focus adjustment by rack and pinion. It was sold either with and without a lens. A Thornton-Picard time and instantaneous shutter was supplied with the camera. Additional features included an exposure counter and two finders. It was made in three sizes including a stereoscopic model.
