The Flexet Camera was manufactured by Talbot & Eamer in circa 1903. The reflector type camera was constructed of sell seasoned mahogany wood and covered in leather. The brass fittings were finished in bronze. The camera captured quarter plate sized negatives on glass plates or flat films. Made with a full view finder and hood, the setting of the shutter brings the reflector in place, which is is instantly removed when the shutter is released. It was fitted with either a new focusing rapid rectilinear lens or a Cooke lens. An added feature is that the front can rise or fall for focus adjustments and it is brass bound for durability in climate change. The introductory price was 5 pounds and 10 shillings. If purchasing the Cooke lens the cost was 2 pounds more.
