The Miral Reflex Hand Camera was manufactured by the Talbot & Eamer company in circa 1899. This was the second version of the Miral reflex hand camera model produced. Made of mahogany wood and covered in leather. It resembled a box camera with a full sized view finder that folds dwon flush with the body and can pop up with an attached bellows hood. It was small in size and light weight measuring only 8 3/4 x 5 x 5 1/8 inches. It featured a plate changing arrangement similar to the Talmer and Economic that could hold 12 quarter-plates. It could also be fitted with a roll holder instead of the plate changer. Prices started at 42 shillings. It was fitted with a busch lens and a roller-blind type shutter working behind the lens. Two buttons are provided on the side to switch from time to instantaneous exposures. Priced at 3 pounds and 10 shillings.
