The Miral Reflex Hand Camera of 1901 was manufactured by the Talbot & Eamer company. This Miral variation was similar to the previous years version except it included a removable changing box, slightly small size and rising front. The camera was made of mahogany wood and covered in leather. It resembled a box camera with a full sized view finder that folds down flush with the body and pops up for use with an attached bellows hood. It was small in size and light weight measuring only 8 1/4 x 5 x 5 inches. It featured a plate changing arrangement for 12 quarter-plates. Prices started at 42 shillings. It was fitted with a self capping time and instantaneous shutter working behind the lens that is set by pulling a cord. A switch is provided on the side to change from time to instantaneous exposures.
