The Miral Standard Model No. 2 Reflex Hand Camera was manufactured by the Talbot & Eamer company in circa 1903. This version had a full sized view finder with a long hood that folded down flush with the body and pops up for use. It was made in a quarter-plate and a 5 x 4 inch exposure size. It was fitted with a self capping time and instantaneous shutter with speeds ranging from 1/10th to 1/100th of a second, set by pulling a cord. It featured a plate changing arrangement for 12 quarter-plates or 24 cut film sheaths and a rising front operated by rack and pinion which provided and rise indication in the viewer . Prices started at 4 pounds 4 shillings, up to 5 pounds 5 shillings.
