The Talmer Hand Camera was manufactured by Talbot and Eamer in circa 1890. The camera was made of mahogany wood and finely polished. The camera featured a magazine holding 12 plates or 24 cut films that were adjusted through the use of a soft changing bag. Other features included an exposure counter, two large view finders, a Taylor, Taylor & Hobson rapid rectilinear lens, an adjustable self-setting shutter and double exposure protection. The camera was made in quarter=plate and 5 x 4 inch sizes. It was priced around 4 pounds and 4 shillings.
