  Rocket Camera


The Rocket Camera was marketed by the Rocket Camera Company in circa 1950. It was manufactured by the Maruso company of Japan. This box camera was constructed of painted tin sheet metal with a built-in optical view finder on the top of the camera. It was fitted with a simple single speed instantaneous and bulb shutter and a fixed focus meniscus lens. It was capable of capturing sixteen 4x5cm exposures on standard no. 120 roll film. The camera measures 3 1/2" tall x 3' wide x 2" depth. This camera was similar to the General and the Palmer cameras by the same manufacturer.
