The New Rocket camera was marketed by the Rocket Camera Company in circa 1956. It was manufactured after world war II. The cameras are engraved "New Rocket" on the top plate and some on the front face-plate. Additionally some are marked "MADE IN OCCUPIED JAPAN". It was a well made "Hit type" subminiature camera that produced 14 x 14 mm exposures. The same camera was sold by the Tokyo Seiki Co. Ltd. It was available in both chrome and gold finish. The gold finish increases the value by 50%.
