The Honor SL camera was manufactured by Zuiho Optical Company in 1959. This 35mm rangefinder camera was referred to as a Leica copy camera, however its design more reflected that of the Canon L1 camera. It was constructed of a die-cast metal body with leatherette coverings and satin chrome trim. The camera featured a focal plane shutter operated by two separate dials and providing speeds from 1 to 1/500th of a second. It was fitted with a Honor f1.9, 50mm lens in a rigid mount.
