The Celas As de Trefle camera was manufactured by C.F. Foth & Cie of Paris France in circa 1935. The Celas camera was similar to the Springkamera sold in Germany. Its name "As de Trefle" means "Ace of Clubs" which was a French distributor of photographic supplies. It was a self erecting camera roll film camera made of metal and covered in leather. fitted with a CELAS f4.5, 100mm lens in a Foth shutter providing speeds of 1/25 to 1/100th of a second including self time and bulb.
