The Clarissa camera was manufactured by E. Lorenz im Berlin, Germany in circa 1929. Constructed as a tropical camera with a wooden body and thick leather bellows. The Clarissa is a strut-folding camera capable of capturing 4.5x6 cm on plates. It was fitted with either a Meyer-Gorlitz Trioplan f3 75mm or a Doppel-Anastigmat Helioplan f4.5 75mm. The camera included a fast focal-plane shutter providing speeds from 1/20th to 1/1000th of a second.
