  Optior Camera


The Optior camera was the first camera produced by the state run factory I.O.R. (Intrepriderea Optica Romana S.A.) in Bucharest Romanian from approximately 1954 to 1960. The camera was constructed of a cast metal body with a built-in eye-level view finder. It was capable of capturing 43 x 55mm exposures on standard no. 120 roll film. It was fitted with an IOR 75mm (or 60mm) f/11 meniscus lens and a single-speed 1/25th of a second shutter. plus bulb. There were a few minor variations of body and front plate.
