The Orizont camera was manufactured by Intrepriderea Optica Romana S.A. or I.O.R. in circa 1960. This was the first 35mm camera produced in Romania by the I.O.R. bucharest factory. Constructed of cast metal with a built-in view finder and leatherette covering. The cameras shutter provided three speeds, 1/25th, 1/50th, 1/100th of a second including time. It was fitted with a Trioclar f3.2 f=50mm uncoated lens.
