The Orizont Amator D camera was manufactured by the Romainian state owned Intrepriderea Optica Romana S.A. or I.O.R. factory from 1970 to 1989. A 35mm roll film camera. The shutter provided four speeds, 1/30th, 1/60th, 1/125th, 1/300th of a second. It was fitted with a Fotoclar 300, f2.8, 40mm lens. In addition it featured weather symbols for aperture setting.
