The Reflex-Primar or Atelier-Reflex-Primar camera was manufactured by the Bentzin Camera Company from circa 1900 to the end of the company in 1954. Cameras made after 1948 were labeled Atelier-Reflex-Primar. Designed as a folding single lens reflex camera with a telescoping hood viewer and focal plane shutter providing speeds up to 1/1000 of a second. Made in multiple sizes including, 6.5 x 9 cm, 3 1/4 x 3 1/4 inch, 9 x 12 cm, 13 x 18 cm, and 18 x 24 cm. Typically fitted with a Zeis Tessar or a Meyer-Gorlitz Trioplan lens in a pronto compur shutter, although other variations were available at the time.
