The Primar-Reflex II camera was also labeled Primarflex II and Astraflex II. It was manufactured by the Bentzin Camera Company in circa 1951. A single lens reflex designed similar to its predecessor the Primarflex. The camera is constructed of metal with leather covering. It was capable of capturing 2/14 x 2 1/4 inch exposures on standard no. 120 roll film. It featured a bayonet screw mount for lenses and interchangeable lens hood. It was fitted with either a Zeiss Tessar 105mm f3.5 coated lens or a Meyer Triopan f2.8 coated lens. The shutter wa a focal plane type providing sppes from 1 to 1/1000th of a second, plus time and bulb. Other features include delayed action shutter, built-in flash synchronization, reflex focusing, exposure counter, depth of field guide, magnifier on reflex view finder. Originally priced around $275 to $295.
