The Primarflex camera was manufactured by the Bentzin Camera Company from circa 1935 to the early 1940's. It was a unique single lens reflex camera design that proved to be a predecessor to the Hasselblad system. The camera was constructed of metal with leather covering. It was capable of capturing 6 x 6 cm exposures on standard no. 120 roll film or for glass plates or sheet film using an adapter 6 x 6 or 4.5 x 6cm. It featured a focal plane shutter for speeds from 1 to 1/1000th of a second with delayed action and self capping. Full-size ground glass screen. Auto-stop on film advance. The mount provided an Interchangeable screw mount for a very wide range of lenses up to 40 cm.
