The The improved Quadratische Reise-Camera or Square Travel Camera was manufactured by Bentzin Camera company in circa 1922. This camera is similar to the regular trave camera except that it was designed with a spindle drive mechanism for adjustment. for the triple extension bellows. The 1922 catalog identifies this camera as the model VIIa.
This camera has a square construction designed for travel pictures of portrait and landscape photography. Identified in the catalog as model VII. Suitable for both amateurs and professionals. focus is accomplished by either rear or front adjustment. The camera is constructed of either mahogany with polished and lacquered fittings or walnut with nickel plated fittings. The bellows are made out of calico with leather corners.
