The Rechteck-Primar camera was manufactured by the Bentzin camera company from c1912 to c1926. Rechteck-Primar" translates to "rectangular primary" referring to the shape and function of the camera. Constructed of wood with leather covering and a leather bellows. A light folding bed box camera for universal use. The camera design provides several adjustments including tilt forward and backward including rise and fall. The floorboards are made of brass dovetail so that they are not exposed to swelling. Made in 9 x 12 cm and 10 x 15 cm size. The 10 x 15 cm size can be adapter for stereo work. Fitted with either a Zeiss-Tessar or a Zeiss Doppel Amatar.
