The Speedex camera was manufactured by AGFA Camera-Werk from c1933 to 1936. The camera was boldly advertised that it was 100% made in America by one of the best known camera manufacturers in the world. It was constructed of a steel frame, finished in black and trimmed in Chromium. The camera captured twelve square 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 inch exposures on standard no. 120 or B-2 roll film. It was fitted with an anastigmat lens in a precision compur shutter providing 7 speeds from 1/2 to 1/250th of a second, plus time and bulb. The Agfa Speedex camera was originally priced at $24.75.
