Version #1 is distinguished by the horizontally stripped decorative metal front plate. The Kaftax was a simpler version of the Banco camera. The camera captured 6 x 9 cm exposures on no. 120 roll film. It was fitted with a non-telescoping meniscus lens with a simple shutter.
