The Victor camera was manufactured from 1891 to approximately 1893. It was designed for quality comprising highly polished mahogany and the metal work was the finest comparable to mathematical instruments. It was provided with a rising front and single swing and is adapted to front focus, having a smooth double rack and pinion movement. The ground glass is fitted with the patent spring actuated movement which keeps it always attached to the camera without being in the way of the operator. Prices for 1891 ranged from $10.50 to $22.50 depending on size.
