  Corfield Periflex Camera (Silver)


The third version of the Periflex camera was manufactured by K. G. Corfield Ltd in circa 1955. This version was constructed of metal with the top and bottom silver anodized and body covered with a black imitation leatherette. It is a 35mm camera designed with a unique periscope viewfinder that focused through the taking lens. It was fitted with a Lumar-X f3.5 50mm lens in an aluminum housing with inlaid black leather strips and a restyled mount. The camera featured a fast focal plane shutter providing speeds of 1/30th to 1/1000th of a second plus bulb.
