The Belfoca I camera was manufactured by Belca-Werk company from circa 1956. It was the successor to the original Befoca. A similar vertical folding camera capable of capturing 6x9cm exposures on no. 120 roll film. Some versions allowed for 4.5 x 6 cm exposures using masks. It was fitted with a coated 'Bonotar' anastigmat f6.3 lens mounted in a Binor shutter, providing speeds of 1/25th, 1/50th and 1/100th of a second plus bulb.
