The Belmira Camera was manufactured by the Belca-Werk company in circa 1951 to 1956 at which time the company was sold to VEB and production continued for a few more year after that. It was a 35mm camera with a large viewfinder and a coupled rangefinder. It was fitted with either a Tessar f2.8 50mm coated lens or a Meyer-Optik Triopan f2.9 50mm coated lens. Lenses mounted in a Vebur shutter providing speeds from 1 to 1/250th of a second plus bulb. Other features included
double exposure prevention, rapid winder, accessory shoe, coupled viewfinder and rangefinder with automatic parallax correction.
