  Belca Beltica II Camera (Late version)

The Beltica II folding camera was manufactured by Belca-Werk of East Germany. The first version was produced starting in 1952 and the second version beginning in 1955. The second version has a metal top housing incorporating the view finder. The camera took up to thirty-six 1 x 1 1/2 inch exposes on 35mm roll film. It was fitted with a variety of lenses including a Ludwig Meritar f2.9 50mm or a Meyer-Optik Trioplan f2.9 50mm lens or a Zeiss Tessar f2.8 50mm lens. The shutter was a Vebur providing 1 to 1/250th of a second , plus bulb. Other features include built-in flash synchronization, parallax correction and eye-level optical viewfinder.
