The Ferrania Alfa camera was manufactured by Ferrania camera company of Milan Italy in circa 1945. Constructed of metal with a a black crinkle enamaled finish with chrome accents. This snap shot camera featured a f1:9 meniscus lens and a top mounted view finder and shutter release button. It was capable of capturing 4 x 5 cm exposures on standard no. 127 roll film.
