The Zeta box camera was manufactured by Ferrania in Italy in circa 1940. A simple box camera was constructed of metal and partially covered in black material with the exposed metal painted black. The Zeta box is easily distinguishable from the Duplex and Duplex 2 by the distinctive film advance knob which was made of metal with a saw-blade shape. It was fitted with a fixed focus meniscus lens with aperature adjustments. The shutter provided a single instantaneous speed about 1/50 of a second, plus bulb.
