The Eclipse Camera was manufactured and sold by E. I. Horsman in circa 1890. Sold as an entry level camera outfit described in advertisements as " A child 10 years old can make a picture">. It was box camera constructed of wood and covered with imitation morocco. It accepted dry plates 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 inch in size.
