  APM Altrex Roll Film Camera

The Altrex camera was manufactured by the Amalgamated Photographic Materials company from approximately circa 1924 to 1930. After 1930 the camera was manufactured by Soho Ltd. It was a folding bed pocket bellows camera capable of capturing six 2 1/4 x 3 1/4 inch exposures on roll film. Lens shutter combinations included a single archromatic lens or rapid rectilinear f8 lens mounted on a Marvel shutter or a Kershaw Anastigmat f7.7 or f6.3 lens mounted in a General Shutter. The camera measured 6 3/4 x 2 7/8 x 1 1/4 inches and weighed 17 ounces.
