The APM Box camera was manufactured by the Amalgamated Photographic Materials company from approximately circa 1924 to 1930. A simple box camera constructed of well seasoned wood and covered, accepting daylight roll film for six exposures. It was fitted with a rapid achromatic fixed focus lens with three stops and a everset shutter for snapshots and timed exposures. Three models were made including the No. 2 for 2 1/4 x 3 1/4 inch exposures, the No. 2a for 2 1/2 x 4 1/4 inch exposures and the No. 3 for 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 inch exposure.
