  APM Celtrex camera

The Celtrex camera was manufactured by the Amalgamated Photographic Materials company in circa 1929. The camera was constructed of aluminum with a black leather covering. It was a folding bed pocket bellows camera capable of capturing six 2 1/2 x 4 1/4 inch exposures on roll film. Features included radial focusing with infinity point lock and a rising front. Fitted with a Marvel shutter providing speeds from 1/25 to 1/100th of a second, plus bulb and either a Single achromatic or an f8 rapid rectilinear lense or fitted with a General shutter providing 1/5th to 1/100th of a second with a Kershaw anastigmat f7.7 or f6.3. The camera measured 8 1/2 x 3 1/2 x 1 3/4 inches and weighed 30 ounces. Prices ranged from 2£ 17 to 5£ 15s.
