The Feltrex camera was manufactured by the Amalgamated Photographic Materials company in circa 1929. The folding bed pocket bellows camera is similar to the Altrex and Celtrex except is was made for a bigger sized 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 inch negative. The camera body was constructed of aluminum with a black leather covering. Features included radial focusing with infinity point lock and a rising front. Fitted with either a Marvel shutter providing speeds from 1/25 to 1/100th of a second plus bulb and paired with either a single achromatic or an f8 rapid rectilinear lense or fitted with a General shutter providing 1/5th to 1/100th of a second with a Kershaw anastigmat f7.7 or f6.3. The camera measured 8 1/2 x 4 1/8 x 1 3/4 inches and weighed 32 ounces. Prices ranged from 4£ to 7£.
