The APM Focal Plane Model Deluxe camera was manufactured by Amalgamated Photographic Materials Co. in circa 1924. Similar to The Focal Plane Plate camera but tailored for roll films. A compact light weight camera with a strut folding bellows and a focal plane shutter. The camera body was constructed of seasoned mahogany wood with the corners strengthened with metal binding, covered in fine morocco-grained leather, leather bellows, ebonized mahogany front and stout nickel-plated struts. The shutter provided speeds ranging from 1/16th to 1/800 of a second. Made for 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 inch exposures on rajar no. 91 roll film. It was fitted with various lenses including an APeM Anastigmat f4.5 lens, Aldis f4.5, Cooke Aviar f4.5, Dallmeyer Serrac f4.5, or a Ross Xpres f4.5.
