  APM Reflex Camera

The APM Reflex camera was manufactured by the Amalgamated Photographic Materials company in circa 1922. A low cost and reliable reflex camera. Manufactured in two sizes, 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 and 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 inches. Constructed of seasoned mahogany with a deep collapsible focusing hood, focusing screen in the back, rising and falling front, rigid long rack and pinion extension and reversible back. It was fitted with a focal plane shutter capable of providing speeds of 1/25, 1/50, 1/100, 1/200, 1/300, 1/500 and 1/1000th of a second. It was available with various lenses including Wray Lustrar Anastigmat f5.9, Cooke APeM f4.5, Wray Lustrar f4.5, Dallmeyer f6, Aldis Anastigmat f6, Aldis f4.5, Dallmeyer Serrac f4.5 or a Ross Xpres f4.5.
