  Vest Pocket De Luxe

The APeM Vest Pocket was manufactured by the Amalgamated Photographic Materials company in circa 1924. A compact folding camera capable of capturing eight 1 5/8 x 2 1/2 inch exposures on roll film. The camera was primarily constructed of aluminum covered in morocco-grained leather and finished in nickel and black enamel. It was fitted with options. The first a three speed shutter providing 1/25, 1/50, and 1/100 plus time and bulb exposures and paired with a single achromatic f11 lens or a Rapid rectilinear f8 lens. Secondly. a General Shutter providing 1/5, 1/10, 1/25, 1/50, and 1/100 plus time and bulb exposures and paired with a Kershaw Anastigmat f7.7 or f6.6. and the third choice as a Compur shutter providing 1 to 1/300th of a second paired with a Kershaw Anastigmat f4.5 lens.
