The Roamer II camera was manufactured by Universal Camera Corporation in circa 1948. A folding pocket camera constructed of die-cast aluminum and covered in Vinylite all weather material. The Roamer II produced eight 2 1/4 x 3 1/4 inch sized negatives on eitherno. 120 or no. 620 roll film. It was fitted with a coated and color corrected Anastigmat f4.5 lens with a range of 4-ft to infinity. The shutter provided four speeds from 1/25th to 1/200th of a second plus bulb. Other features included automatic self-cocking shutter, built-in flash synchronization, sliding film viewer cover on back, telescopic eye level and waist level view finders, folding release lever, and two tripod sockets. The camera measured 6 1/2 x 3.1/2 x 1 3/4 inches when clsoed and weighed about 1 lb. 5 oz.. Originally priced at $48.00 usd.
